You can set your Vulkano to automatically check for firmware updates daily and if there is a new firmware available it will download it and install it. If you have the automatic update turned off you can also check for a firmware update using the Vulkano Setup wizard. If you need to double-check as to the latest firmware or would rather just do a quick check here then this page will do it for you. Every time you read this post it will check and show you the latest firmware available. This is all done automatically. It shows the firmware number, release date and a link so you can then download directly from the Monsoon Multimedia Servers if needed. |

I tried the auto update from the Wizard and it said update failed due to wrong Modeil ID number.
However I went to the manual update, loaded the Kernel file first as you must do, then the flash file and update went fine.

Hi, I’ve tried the beta Vulkano on my iphone which worked with 3G. Now I cannot connect either through Wi-Fi or 3G on my iphone. the app starts and then quits. I am aware there is an upgrade for PCs. I have tried it recently and cannot access it due to a window saying it cannot connect to preview Window or something like that.

My Vulkano is stuck at the ‘Install latest firmware’ screen. If I click on OK (only option) it goes to an update screen for hours on end. Let it run 5 hours today with no completion. Reset does not help. If this can’t be solved will have to RMA it. Ideas?

I don't know what version you are running now but I would suggest you try a manual update.
You may have such an older version that it is not updating correctly.
I would suggest you download the latest version here. http://vulkanocommunity.com/downloads/?did=34
Then manually update using the PC setup wizard as shown in the instructions on that page.

I’m unable to update my vulkano platinum. Autoupdate says newest firmware is 94/919 and it says update is successful but when I check it’s still the old firmware (94/653) even after reboot. I tried the manual update to latest version but kernel update fails it says file corrupted or wrong model, second last version update (94/919) the kernel say update successful but flash fails.
any help please
