Increase volume on U-verse STB

If you have a U-vese set top box, this marginally helps increase the volume output to your Vulkano, which in turns does increase the volume while streaming.

 

Using the U-vese remote:

1. Press & hold the "AT&T" button

2. While still pressing the AT&T button press & hold the "OK" button.

3. Release both "AT&T" & "OK" at the same time // All lights flash 2x

4. Type "955" // "AT&T" button flashes 2x

5. Press & release "AT&T"

6. Adjust volume up/down as desired using volume up button

 

You now need to resync your remote to control the volume on your TV

1. Press & hold the "AT&T" button

2. While still pressing the AT&T button press & hold the "OK" button.

3. Release both "AT&T" & "OK" at the same time // All lights flash 2x

4. Type "955" // "AT&T" button flashes 2x

5. Press & release "TV" // "TV" button flashes 2x

 

My STB was defaulted to 20 and I upped it to 25 … like I said marginal.

Noticed this weekend that the same can be accomplished using the volume control on the "virtual" U-verse remote when using the pc player.
