I am planning to buy a new Samsung Smart TV with built in Wi-Fi at my holiday apartment in Thailand. My Vulkano is placeshifting my TV signal from Norway.

Is it possible to stream the picture from my laptop wireless to the TV, either by the TV's built in Wi-Fi or some additional hardware like Apple TV (jailbreaked) or similar? Or perhaps a different brand TV that supports this?

Although possible, for me its inconvenient to plug the HDMI cable from my laptop to the TV. It is my absolutely last option.

Anyone?
